We hired a lawyer in April 2015!
He made some inquiries at the Chicago USCIS! He tried to talk to our IO. Unfortunately, our IO has been transferred to the citizenship interviews and our lawyer didn't talk to him! No luck at all!
The USCIS supervisor said that she will assign our file to another IO to adjudicate.
As of today, July 21st, 2015 STILL NOTHING!

It's been 1 year and 3 months since we filled I-130 and I-485 and 9 months since the interview!

hi - sorry you're having troubles - IMO you would have learned of adjudicator transfer during an infopass appointment, and would have been able to actually talk to the adjudication supervisor, face to face...

please make time today to fill out your official VJ timeline, over at

Thanks so much, and Thanks in Advance !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

We went to infopass. No luck at all. We spoke with a supervisor also. She said keep waiting and renew the EAD card and apply for advance parole thing ....

In March 2015. my mom had the second stroke! She had some brain damage and blood pressure problems.
She lives in Romania alone. My dad died when I was 8 years old and she didn't remarry with another man.
I didn't see my mom since 1999. I sent my wife (she is USC) to take care of her for 2 1/2 months.(April to June)

I am really frustrated and upset about this
