My fiancé just makes 1000 over the guideline. And we did it without a sponsor. We could use him mom. But the guideline is there for a reason. And we are over it. We can prove it with paysstubs and employment letter.

His past tax terurn were all under the guideline. Is all about what you make now.

Your timeline says you haven't had your interview yet, which is when all financial support information is required. So how do you know you've "done it" without a co-sponsor?

Also, this kind of advice does NOT generalize well across different countries, especially when comparing western Europe to the Philippines.

I've never said I got my interview. Nor did I say we got our NOA2. All I said is that we did it with what he makes. Obviously based on my timeline.

I've done more then enough research on this. And based on that I am letting them know that they can just do it without a co sponsor. As long as he makes enough.

I'm assuming people here can read. He asked for advice. I gave him my situation.

Take it or leave it.
