Couples who have a lot of red flags get the K visa and I guess the embassy gives it easier because they know that America will take care of it and prove the legitimacy of the relationship. I really wish I can go back and change my choice :( My husband even told me at the time that its up to u whatever you think its best, you know how the U.S. immigration works. Pick the option that will be the best for us.

But somehow I was under impression that previous divorce, from the beneficiary side would result in denial of visa. Maybe embassy woulduld think that he still has wife in pakistan and wants to marry one in america, so i thought marriage was safer route. boy was i wrong. How do i prove to them my agony and the stress its causing me and my marriage.

too late to even think going back..think forward now..to overcome stress and depression have some Red bull :-) thats what i am on these days..

I would not say the k-1 is easier. That's the route we chose and we spent 15 months in AP. We had a few Red Flags different religion, previous divorce, a bit of an age difference. When he arrived in the US, 2 weeks after we had a visit from Homeland security and the FBI at our house. I believe no visa is actually easier than another. I hope your wait is short as I know how frustrating it is.

Bhai I am OK Alhamdolillah just I need to go to hospital for dialysis twice a week some precautions and just OK.

Yes I was OK when I went for visa interview in August 2011 but after I was put into AP it was way shocking for me as I was not expecting that after all that they would not issue a visa.

2 and half months later I got severely sick and my friend took me to hospital where they performed tests and told me that my kidneys are damaged and either hemodialysis or kidney transplant is the solution. Then 9 months later my loving mother also died to exacerbate the situation.

But nevertheless, its life and its going on. I make dua to Allah SWT that he make me successful in this test. You all also pray for me?

Yes it was returned to him

It doesn't mean that he won't get his visa just because they didn't keep his passport at the interview. They can ask for the passport when they are ready to issue the visa. I think the people who's passport they don't keep are the lucky ones. At least they can travel instead of the embassy holding on to it for months or years.

What happened when these agencies came to ur home?

What happened when these agencies came to ur home?

I was at work when they came to the house so they interviews him asking the same questions how did we meet? How long? Etc etc

Then they called me at work and I had to go to their office to be interviewed as well. They said there was nothing wrong but they had to assure themselves it wasn't a fraudalent relationship which he didn't think it was, but coming from Pakistan which is hot stuff they needed to check.
