Is your wife working with a Senator or Congressman. They can send an email to the embassy asking that your passport be returned. The embassy might respond to him or her.

Sister Carolyn we involved senator and Congressmen and got same reply.

I wont lie ever that is why I send them email and ask them to return it so that I can renew it. I think they feel that as long as no travel is intended, passport need not to be renewed. If I would need to travel then I would tell them that and probably they would return.

But lets hope that In sha Allah after 4 years of case creation date, they would issue me a visa.

Yes she is white American and a Muslim convert. Maybe that is the reason?

no this not a reason my wife is my relitive cusin and we are from same city inspite of that we are in hell of this ap

this kind of things can not be happen in other countries like india no body have time in our leadership to discuse such issue to the amercans so we

dont have the any option except prayes i knew many persons married with amercan born citizens and they get the visas withen the year

my husband entered us on dec 25 at jfk and immigration was done there.. now my `question how long we have to wait to get his ssn and green card

It should only take a couple of weeks to get the ssn card and 30 days to get the green card. If the green card doen't come, call USCIS and see if it is being processed.

g sir i married with my wife in 2010 my wife file my case apr 2011 my interwiew was done in mar2012 at interview time vo said that every thing is fine and put us in ap in my case red flag is that we both divorced from previous marriages she is my cusin we both have child but if u look at there society this is the most common thing which they do then it should not be redflag for us
