I-912 and N-400 question

Hi All,

My sister applied for citizenship 10 days ago, and she still did not receive any confirmation that they received her package or not or what is the next step for or if her I-912 has been accepted or not. based on USCIS requirement she is eligible 100% for fee waiver. does it take longer to review the I-912?.

I remember when i applied for citizenship, it took 2 month total from filing to have ceremony.

I'm not sure how much longer a few waiver request would take, but I'd be surprised if it didn't slightly delay the process.

Your sister's ceremony will almost certainly be several months away. Things had sped up considerably in the last few years but they've slowed down again. Most people are waiting at least five months from application to ceremony. Some are waiting closer to a year.
