I am confused about this. I filled out the ds160 already last September. But I received an email today from a friend that starting October 2 2014, all immigrant visa applicants requires to complete Ds260. Failure to do so will delayed the reschedule interview in a couple of weeks.

And it also says all civil documents should be original.

K-1 is not an immigrant visa ;) DS-260 does NOT apply to you.

LoL! I'm sorry, it confuses me sometimes whether K1 is non immigrant or immigrant. :)

I was in the panic mode since everything is prepared already, just waiting for my culture result.

Understandable to be confused on the K-1, it is a non-immigrant visa that USEM processes through the Immigrant Visa Unit. Can get confusing for sure.
