First, the replies you received are inaccurate. This is what you need to do:

1) you came to the u.s legally that means you can adjust status at any time regardless of the kind of visa issued to you.

2) Do not go back home till you resolve your case.

3) The biometric appt. you missed can be rescheduled or try doing a walk-in, If that doesnt work the worst thing that can happen is denying your application and in a future date you can file a new one.

4)Try working things out with your spouse if she decided divorce is the only way then give her the divorce and move on with your life.

5)Having a child outside of marriage is NOT an immigration crime or against the law. stuff happens.

6) The replies you recieved about leaving the country is not accurate unless you want to but first i will settle the issue with the spouse.
