Hello,

just wanted to ask, i filed up my g325a, but i was reading some papers and i saw that. if you are unemployed you have to put that?

so i just wanna make sure... i have a job for 3 years. and i got laid off last feb 2014 due to workforce reduction. and after 3 months i got a new job. should i put the "unemployed" on that blanks? thanks.

Hi,

As far as I'm concerned you cannot leave any gap time so yes you have to state unemployment.

Good luck we're about to file as well so I've been doing a lot of research into this.

You need to list the last 5 years of your employment. If you were not employed at any time during the last 5 years, you simply write UNEMPLOYED and write the dates of your unemployment.

We marked every gap as "unemployed" as to not leave a single day unaccounted for.
