How long to receive NOA2 duplicate copy after filing I-824?

Hello

I entered the USA on July 30 on the K-1, got married October 10th, and will be sending off my I-485 package within the next few days.

My husband and I cannot find the NOA2 letter, i.e. the letter from USCIS that is the second Notice of Action (NOA) acknowledging K-1 petition has been approved.

So I guess we have to file an I-824 to receive a duplicate copy. Has anyone here had to do that, and how long after filing the I-824 did they have to wait to receive the duplicate NOA2 K-1 petition-approved letter?

I think that my husband also got an email sent to him to confirm approval of K-1 petition... can a print out of the email be sent instead of the original NOA2 letter or do we definitely have to get the NOA2 duplicate?

Thank you.

I have heard of people successfully using a screenshot of the online case status showing approval from uscis.gov if they cannot find the NOA2. You could try that and also include the email.

To obtain a second copy of the NOA2 costs some crazy amount of money. I don't know how long it takes.

I have found my NOA2 !!!

Just to check I have the right document, it says at the top:

"I-797, Notice of Action"

And it states: "The above petition has been approved. We have sent the original visa petition to the Department of State National Visa Center (NVC).... The USCIS has completed all action; further inquiries should be directed to the NVC."

(This document was sent to my then-fiancé, about 6 weeks after the original I-129F petition was approved).

So this is the NOA2 right?

Thanks.
