Timeline

I am all set for the interview except for my joint sponsor she is only willing to give me a copy of her 2013 taxes not the originals I'm fine with that but I don't know if it is ok at the consulate and a copy of her birth certificate as well she can't provide the pay stubs is this ok as well ?

Yes, of course a copy of her taxes is okay. No one is going to give the original! The consulate will happily accept copies. Especially copies of the tax transcript if you can get that - they prefer it. And it's very easy to get from the IRS website. She can have it downloaded and printed in less than 10 minutes.

Packet 3.5 Sent: 8/7/2014 (We had delays because of civil unrest in Pakistan)

Embassy Receive: 8/21/2014 (Again delays due to civil unrest)

Receive Appointment Letter/Interview Date: 8/27/2014 (interview date in just 9 days)!

Medical Exam: 8/29/2014 (Yikes! The whole thing has now been postponed for 2 months for TB testing)

Interview Date: Originally 9/5/2014 - Now Postponed for at least two months

TB Test Results: 10/15/2014 - came back 18 days early! And she's negative!

Interview Rescheduled 10/17/2014: (embassy moving at lightning speed)!

New Interview Date: 10/29/2014 APPROVED!!!

CEAC Updates to AP: 11/13/2014

CEAC Updates to ISSUED!! 11/14/2014

Visa In-Hand: 11/24/2014

Arrival in USA: 11/27/2014 -- 11 MONTHS, 1 WEEK, 4 DAYS AFTER NOA1

MARRIED: 11/30/2014 !!!

The copies are fine, that's all you need anyway if using the full return. Just make sure that all schedules and W2's are attached. I would just have the copies of the returns signed, just in case, I had it done that way.

As for her income, she needs to give you proof of her current income either an employment letter or most recent pay stubs. She doesn't have to give you the original pay stubs, they can be copies too. For myself and the cases I have helped with, we submitted copies of the pay stubs and were just fine.

hmm so this is what i need from her the 2013 copies of taxes wer W2 form as well as a copy of her birth certificate and if she can a month of most recent pay stub?

She HAS to give you a copy of the pay stub if there is no emp letter. Plus the taxes and w2.
