Revoked visa

Hi guys!

I am in the process of doing a green card. Received an RFE which I sent in the middle of September but have heard nothing since. My new EAD card has not even been sent to me - just ordered for production, however the rest of my family got theirs 5weeks ago. I'm was the one most actively using it. First question of mine is that maybe suspicious? My instinct is telling me to prepare for the worst.

Secondly, if the worst happened to the green card I could fall back to my previous visa - P visa. I am an athlete but have been injured for a while and not competed. This could be seen as not "fulfilling" my P visa. If my P visa was revoked while I was outside of the country could I re enter on a grace period or some way? Also could I apply for an ESTA after my visa was revoked and do I have to wait a certain amount of time?

Thank you for your replies! I wrote a lot but if I had listened to our immigration attorney I would still be working without my new EAD card!!!!!! So I don't trust what they tell me.
