Can I make a state ID with EAD card?Do i need a SSN for that? any help appriceated

05/24/14 (day 01) Sent AOS package

05/26/14 (day 02) Package delivered to Chicago Lockbox

06/04/14 (day 10) Txt msg & Email received

06/09/14 (day 13) Received NOA1

06/26/14 (day 30) Biometrics Done

07/07/14 (day 41) Case moved to Testing&Interview

10/20/14 (day 146) Interview scheduled for November 25

11/25/14 (day 182) Interview,Approved on a spot

12/01/14 Received Welcome to USA letter

12/03/14 Card was mailed

12/04/15 Received Green Card on mail




08/30/14 Sent I-765

09/05/14 Txt msg & Email received

09/08/14 Received NOA1

10/29/14 EAD Card Production

11/04/14 Got tracking num for EAD

11/05/14 EAD on hands

For which state?

You'd need to check the list of accepted documents for that state. Googling the state name plus the keywords "state ID" should get you to the right pages.

Florida.I see what website says but i wanted to hear abt peoples experience

My wife received her EAD combo card and got her State ID the next day without an issue in WA State. Check with state requirements since it might different.

21 Aug 2013: I-129F Sent

11 Feb 2014: Visa APPROVED!

20 May 2014: Wedding!

31 Jul 2014: Mailed AOS Packet

12 Feb 2015: AOS Interview - Approved

--

22 Feb 2017: Mailed ROC Packet

08 Aug 2018: ROC Approved

In Florida you can get a state ID with Ead. They Accepeted that from me and required two letters/utility bills in your name as proof of address

8/29/14- Sent AOS Package

9/2/14- Delivered to Chicago lockbox

9/5/14- Received texts with receipt numbers, Online status updated for all four cases to " Acceptance" & " Initial review "

9/9/14- NOA1 hard copies received in mail

9/12/14- Biometrics letter recieved ( Date set for 9/22/14 )

9/15/14- Biometrics completed

9/16/14- Submitted EAD Expedite through congressman

9/24/14- Case moved to " Testing and interview "

9/26/14- EAD and AP Approved

10/2/14- EAD Mailed

10/3/14- EAD 'Delivered'.. but never recieved :ranting:

10/16/14- Interview date received for 11/19 - My birthday! :D

11/19/14- Interview day- Approved- PR status registered & Welcome letter mailed

11/24/14- Welcome letter recieved

11/26/14- GC Mailed

11/29/14- GC Received

ROC

09/23/16- Mailed ROC package

10/03/16- Package sent back due to missing documents

10/05/16- Resent package

10/07/16- Check cashed

10/12/16- NOA1 received

11/14/16-Biometrics

03/04/18- Case received at local office

03/24/18- Approval letter received
04/03/18- Card Mailed

I can't remember if they asked me for my passport but I would take it just in case. Double check the DMV website to be sure
