leaving the job after filing i-864ez

Hi all,

I sent all the documents for the green card process last month. I filed i-864ez having my wife as a sponsor. If she quits her job, do I have to resent my i-864 with updated information?

Quitting her job before your AOS is approved would make you need a joint sponsor and a new I-864. Do you have income of your own that you can use to meet the requirements? If you do and it will stay the same after being approved, your wife can fill out an I-864 with your income. If you don't make enough you would need a joint sponsor who has to fill out another I-864.
