Our status changed from the "Required AP" to "Issued" on Oct 30th. How long does it take to get to 2GO for pickup? Is there going to be another status change also on CEAC or is "Issued" the last status?

Thanks in advance.

Just found out my NOA2 approved Oct 25, 2013 is still good. Was automatically extended by the embassy until one year of the last date of notification which is Dec 3, 2013. It's a race now.

Once CEAC says "Issued" they are done with it.

Did you sign up with 2Go for SMS text messaging?

2Go time depends to a large measure on where you pick it up. MOA Is the fastest, Took us 3 days, as we used MOA. If you are getting it sent to your home in Manila, maybe 7 to 10 days. If you are in a remote province, figure on at least 3 weeks.

2GO at Valenzuela is where I chose. Wish I had known MOA was the fastest :/

Will 2GO know if it's en route to them if I called them up today?

Yes, I had signed up for txt message notification.

I am in Bicol Region in Luzon now. My fiancé got a text that her Visa was to be delivered on 10/28, so we kinda hung around her house the whole day.

Around 3pm that day we called them and they said it was in Legazpi at the airport terminal 2Go Office and it would be delivered to her home in a couple of more days, we asked them to hold it and we went next day about 20 minute drive and picked up the package from the airport office.

So I wouldn't pay much attention to what 2Go says and I would try to find the office where it is being delivered from and talk directly to them.

Update:

Oct 30: Status changed to "Issued"

Nov 4 (PI Time): Txt received 'ready for pickup' --so 3-4 business days after for us :)

Ticket will be bought this Friday, arrival on the 22nd just in time for Thanksgiving 2014. This 1 year 'delay' has been one hell of a journey. Glad it's coming to a close.

So other than CFO class, what else is there to do for her? Does the visa packet include a checklist of some sort, and I'm assuming a packet inside the packet that says "do not open" which is what she hands over to immigration at the airport here in the US?

Just found out my NOA2 approved Oct 25, 2013 is still good. Was automatically extended by the embassy until one year of the last date of notification which is Dec 3, 2013. It's a race now.

Nope no checklist.

At the airport you need to pay the travel tax and airport fee. Details in the link below under POE tab.

Looks to me like you are set. Of course do the CFO, but you already know that. Make sure you have all the right docs because they are hell on that. The rest is easy. Just pay attention and give simple answers to simple questions.

There are certain foods you can't bring into the US, primarily meats, cheese and dairy. Packaged and canned foods that are in their original sealed containers are generally OK.

Keep the DO NOT OPEN package in your carry-on because you will need to produce it before you get reunited with your checked luggage.

Hope you enjoy your first Thanksgiving in our country.

Ok...I'm assuming Fiance Visa doesn't have the Immigrant Data Sheet that is requested for the CFO...since it said (except K-visas)

CFO scheduled for Nov 7. Flight on the 21st :) 3 years in the waiting...1 year delay...I'm so anxious right now.

So apart from the Terminal Fee and departure tax which is roughly 2200-2400 php, is there any other fees she would face at the airport? (excluding baggage fees)

Just found out my NOA2 approved Oct 25, 2013 is still good. Was automatically extended by the embassy until one year of the last date of notification which is Dec 3, 2013. It's a race now.

Nope, no Immigrant Data Sheet for the K-1. Details on CFO in my link below.

That is it for fees at the airport; travel tax P 1620, terminal fee P550
