Hello guys... I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I just received interview appointment (p4) from NVC via email today and my interview date is on 12/01/14. And I am wondering what else do I need to do before the interview.

1. Do I need to call US Embassy in Manila to confirm the appointment?
2. And what is Packet 3? Will the EMbassy send me anything before the interview?

Thank you so much guys, and goodluck to everyone! :)

No you do not need to call the embassy to confirm.

Next your medical at St. Lukes

The embassy instructions letter lists everything, even if you send documents to NVC earlier you need to have have them again for the interview.

Lastly, don't forget to complete CFO (info in my link below, CFO is the same for K-1 & CR-1)

No you do not need an appointment to get the sticker, just bring your CFO certificate, copy of the immigrate data sheet (and the original data sheet) and passport.

If you attended CFO to get your passport in your married name then you do not need to attend again, just need to bring that certificate to CFO and get your sticker once you have your visa.

@ Hank l'm just curious if l need to bring with me the i.d of my parents during my CFO? If yes which one should l bring, the original or copies of the i.d's only? Thanks!

Are you referring to the consent or advice letter where I suggest having your parents ID as well? Just copies.

@ Hank Yes. I did check again your website and l think l no longer need to bring the lD of my parents because l'm already out of the age criteria for the advice/consent letter. I'm already 30. ;)
