Any option for F2A Medical Exam in Eastern India / Kolkata?

Hello All,

My wife's visa interview is scheduled in November, however she is yet to complete the Medical Exam prior to it. She lives in Kolkata currently. My question is, previously there was approved panel physicians for medical exam in Eastern India / Kolkata but now it seems all approved physicians are in West / South / North India.

Can anybody please advise if you have some information regarding the approved panel physicians in Eastern India / Kolkata for medical exam?

Were you mailed a list of acceptable physicians or was it included in your letter?

Per the US Consulate Mumbai (where most of the IVs are processed) website, this is a list of the approved panel physicians (the doctors authorized to do the medical exams):

You have to use one of these; it does not look like there are any in the Kolkata area.

This is not a list of doctors to be used for the immigrant visa process. It is just a list of medical sites compiled by the consulate to be used as a reference when private citizens are looking for a doctor or hospital. The correct list is in the prior post -- that list specifically says it is a list of "Panel Physicians". You can only use a doctor or facility that is on the Panel Physician list. There are none currently in eastern India. The Panel Physicians are located in the areas where most of the pending immigrants are located. I was told there are not enough people in eastern India in line for immigration that makes it possible to have a Panel Physician site there.
