Paying Consulate fee and scheduling interview

Ok So I know we have to wait for the consulate to confirm they have the paperwork to actually schedule the interview, or least I think we do.

But our packet is on its way to the consulate as of yesterday.

We want to schedule the medical exam, but the clinic said no not until an interview is scheduled

We created an account on the consulates website, question is now, how soon can we pay the fee. My fiancée would like to go ahead and pay it, so when the time comes to schedule the interview we do not have to wait for it to be credited to our consulate account which takes 24 -48 hours after payment.

We would also like to start looking at possible interview dates but cannot without the fee having been paid already and being able to enter the receipt number. Its a Catch 22.

Ok, I am surprised here. I thought someone who has been through this stage would some input here

Your Embassy's website will tell you how you can pay - it if different for each country You do need to know your 'new', NVC given case number to make the payment. Good luck.
