I am the petitioner,my finacee will be interviewing at the Lagos Nigeria consulate. I have already mailed all required documents to her but I kept struggling with this thoughts of me going to the interview with her. I understand that the Lagos consulate doesn't allow petitioners to attend interviews, but I have heard of cases where CO requested to see petitioners. What do you guys think,should I travel to be with my fiancee and accompany her for the interview or isn't neccesary. Any Nigerian in the house with experience on this please help. Thanks

All depends how much face time have you had together. When was the last time you seen her.

It can only help her confidence and be a comfort you being there. Syou there she will take your passport in with hers and give to the Co so he knows you are outside. No it doesn't guarantee an approval but its up to you to know it it will help. It can never hurt if that's what you are wondering.

Sorry, in cases like this whereby the petitioner is requested to attend for a second interview, what's the possibility or ratio in cases like this at the Lagos Nigeria consulate?........Thanks
