After almost 7 months waiting our case was APPROVED today!!!! I am so happy to have completed this step and we look forward to the next part of our journey with NVC. I believe that contacting the congressman had a lot to do with it being processed. Good luck to all with pending approvals.

congrats!

This process is long and grueling, but in the end it will not matter when you are united permanently. I am in Santo Domingo as I type this and tomorrow is our interview at the Embassy.
