Also, I still cannot fill my DS 260 on-line, it just keep asking me to sign in and return to the same page only...

If your sending a transcript, then a W-2 is not required. In addition I sent 6 months worth of pay stubs and a employer letter.

I sent the actual transcript that came in the mail. You can order more copies for free.

I only have my sister's w-2s and 1040.. or it's better to have a transcript? How long did it take you to receive it through mail? can it just be online and then print?

You can do either, personally I prefer transcripts. The poster above provided the link to download the transcript. I think it took about a week or so to get by mail. Edited February 2, 2015 by Isabela

Do you mean the DS 261 (choice of agent)? Either way, go the page below and pick what you want to do from the menu on the right side of the page (under immigrant).

I only have my sister's w2 of 2014 and 2013 and her ITR of 2013..

Do I need more from her?

Say on her 2014 w-2 she made $30,000 but in 2015 she was given a raise and will earn $35,000 annually then you list $35,000 in proof with an employment letter or paystub. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe the W-2 from 2014 proves that she is currently earning. She could have lost her job since then. Does she have a paystub she could provide you? That is the easiest way to prove current annual income.

I sent my AOS/IV documents on the 21st of January. Paid for express service so that I could track the package. The package made it to Chicago very early on the 22nd, sat in the international sort facility until the 25th. The last tracking information is from the evening of the 25th - it arrived at a USPS facility in Chicago and 'item is currently in transit to destination.' That's over a week ago with no updates.

I called the USPS when they opened at 8 (ET), was on hold for what seemed like forever, only to be told that they are not required to scan 'international letters.' It is 'most likely' on it's way or already delivered. That was not very helpful. For all I know, it's stuck in a snow bank in New Hampshire waiting for the Spring thaw. So I called up NVC, waited through the very long phone menu, only to get 'the NVC is closed today.'

I was prepared for the wait for document review, but not knowing if the documents even got there is killing me. To get new copies of the original items sent could easily add another month to our process.

Is there anybody on this thread that already sent documents to NVC that can tell me the time frame that I will hear from NVC that they received (fingers crossed) my documents and scanned them in? If it's email, will it come to the petitioner?

She wouldn't have a paystub from the hospital in July 2015. Ask her if she has an employment or offer letter that states her annual income.

If she has that and also a paystub from her current position (Jan is fine) then I would just attach a letter that shows how you are calculating her current annual income. For example:

Employer #1 (6 months): Paystub amount * number of pay periods (13 if every other week) = $xxxxx

Employer #2 (6 months): Salary per hour * number of hours per week * 26 weeks =$xxxxx

TOTAL Current Annual Income $xxxxxxx

That is such a relief. I am a big believer in celebrating the small victories!! I am sure that puts your mind at ease a bit. God willing the NVC will open tom and they'll scan it in.
