Double checking poverty guidelines

Hey guys, I checked on familiesusa.org and I found out that 133% of poverty guidelines for a household of 2 is $20,921 a year.

My fiancee makes $24,960 a year. That should be good and we wouldn't need a co-sponsor, right? Neither of us have any children.

Your advise is appreciated, thanks!

Hi there, I have found a PDF document provided on the USCIS website dated 3/2014 with 2014 HHS Poverty Guidelines for affidavit of support. Please read, as I believe you should be looking at the 125% of HHS Poverty Guideline for your I-134. With this said and reviewing the guidelines, you guys are ok.

Where are you getting 133% from? You only need 125% of the poverty level for an affidavit of support. For a household size of 2, you only need to make $19,662...so yes your income is sufficient.

Zedayn, I got the information here http://familiesusa.org/product/federal-poverty-guidelines thought if it said 133% we should be fine. Thanks for your help!
