I agree with Boiler, you may not be responsible for all of them if you only signed one I-864A. Therefore, if the people you are responsible for is considerably less the better. Which only means you only have to make less and won't need a joint sponsor.

By the way how exactly does he go about getting a copy of the I-864A? FOIA request?

This does not constitute legal advice.

No, I asked his friend to find a copy of i864A that he sent or ask his relatives who migrated to find a copy in their records.

I finally understand what Boiler meant after reading your comment. The form only allows up to five immigrants to be listed and there are no instructions to use extra paper for attached sheet. I only signed one form, not multiples. So that mean I might be safe. Nonetheless, I am still waiting on them to give me the copy of I864A just to be sure.

Let's suppose I were to file a FOIA request, who would it go to, USCIS? I do not see any other option for immigration record request.

Well the main I-864 only allows for 7 people maximum, I believe. So it's possible that your dad had to submit multiple I-864's especially since it was one for each sibling. If you only remembered signing one I-864A form, then you are probably only responsible for 5 people. This way your household size is 7, you, spouse, and 5 immigrants. For this HH size you need to make $45,037 or more.

I'm unfamiliar with FOIA requests, and from what I've heard they may take a long time.

Form I-864 03/22/13 N

When Will These Obligations End?

Your obligations under a Form I-864 will end if the person who becomes a permanent resident based on a Form I-864 that you signed:

1. Becomes a U.S. citizen;

2.Has worked, or can be credited with, 40 quarters of coverage under the Social Security Act;

3.No longer has lawful permanent resident status, and has departed the United States;

4.Becomes subject to removal, but applies for and obtains in removal proceedings a new grant of adjustment of status, based on a

new affidavit of support, if one is required; or

5. Dies.

Maybe some of them have worked 10 years by now?

They have only been in the US for 2 and half years according to the OP. Not long enough to be citizens or have the 40 credits.

Maybe some of them have worked 10 years by now?
