Hey Everyone,

So I am the sponsor currently in the Military and my fiance is currently in China. We are going for the K1 visa and our application is at the Guangzhou consulate and we are waiting for packet 3. I have already sent her the additional info (I129f package, affidavit of support......etc) Our question is about our addresses. We both graduated in between our NOA1 and NOA2. We both have access to our old addresses if need be to pick up mail (my parents and her college). On the paperwork like I134 and her DS160 it asks where will you go to in USA. Should she or I or both keep the addresses the same as in the our initial I129f package. I kept the address the same in my affidavit of support as my parents even though I currently got relocated. Should she make sure her address is the same for herself as well and in her DS160 should she keep the address where she is going the one I put in mine even though I am now in South Dakota.....not New York. I was thinking of just keeping the original addresses through K1 visa process and then switching my address for the following steps after she is in the USA. Thanks for your time and responses :)

Just to be clear, so your I-129F petition was approved, and the case has gone through NVC to Guangzhou embassy,

and now you are waiting for the K1 visa packet 3 from the embassy?

If so...

1) Embassy is going to send the packet 3 (and 4) to your fiancee's (beneficiary) address. You (the petitioner) do NOT get them.

2) So if she is currently in China, was her Chinese address put on all applications in I-129F packet?

And was that Chinese address her school address in China? This is important because this is the address

Guangzhou embassy is going to correspond with her.

3) For K1 visa part of the processing, I would use whatever is proper US address.

The part where it asks where in US she is going to stay once she enters US, I put down my home address.

You said you are currently in military, so I'm not sure if she can stay with you. If not, where is she going to stay?

I'm no immigration expert, but during the K1 visa processing (vs. I-129F petition) that I just gone through,

I (USC petiioner) did not receive anything. Once I-129F is approve, the remaining K1 visa is all between your

fiancee and the embassy.

So I don't think switching your US address right at the beginning of K1 visa is not an issue.
