Sialkot –Director General Rangers Punjab Major General Tahir Javed Khan has said that India is not violating ceasefire on Working Boundary but waging mini war.

In a statement issued to media here on Tuesday, DG Ranger Punjab said Indian troops have been violating ceasefire on Working Boundary from two years. He said the motive behind Indian belligerence appears to be political rather than martial.

He said the Working Boundary between Pakistan and India is 193 kilometers long and at the moment there is not a single village in Pakistani border territory where Indian troops have not fired bullets and mortar shells.

...

He said in October, Indian troops have fired over one lac rounds and 15,000 mortar shells in Pakistani territory, which claimed the lives of 11 civilians and injured three Rangers personnel.

Sounds calmer than the US Mexico border.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
