Stupid checklist!!!

My scan date is August 19. I sent both packages together. I called them today and after 65 dials and an hour on wait ( I fell asleep) she told me we got two checklists!!!! One is for my w2...im not even sure if i have a w2 since i was self employed up until recently(we have a co sponsor too) ...i gotta check on that. Do self employed people get a w2?

The other checklist is for my husbands police certificate. I don't know what could be wrong with that... He got a brand new police certificate for NVC, from the exact same police department he did last time, for USCIS. I sent the original , along with a photocopy and my certified translation. Just like we did for USCIS! We never had any problems with them! Anyway....I'm devestated, im so upset, can't calm down....im so cautious and obsessed when it comes to our paperwork, i can't believe they found a problem with it! I never got any RFE's in USCIS! :(

I guess I'll just have to wait until they sent me the explanation letter, which should be in 3-5 business days she says. How long does one usually wait for a letter after getting checklist?

Also, we got expedited at the USCIS stage, because of natural disaster( floods in Bosnia). I didn't want to expedite at NVC because i thought it was gonna be done in a few weeks...NVC was a fast process before the backlog as you all can remember. Now i want to send an expedite request at NVC.....how long does it take to get a response when filing for an expedite at the NVC? Also if expedited at the NVC how long does it take to get interview?

Thanks in advance for any help

Self employed do not receive W2s.

-IRS Tax transcript works like a charm.

As for your co-sponsor, if self employed; IRS Tax transcripts, if not self-employed; they should provide W2s.

Did you ever get an explanation?
