Bill Maher would have if he took the time to do the research, or have an ACTUAL Muslim on the show while he's criticizing Islam. It's amazes me that it's all people want to talk about yet, it makes no sense to have a conversation about it with someone of the faith.

Yes. It's been a common practice in Ethiopia, for example. It still is out in the country there. And the people practicing it are predominantly Christians.

As MBD said, it's more about the culture. The countries that Aslan reported were both Christian countries that practiced FGM. Not Muslim.

Actually, it's a cultural thing not a religious thing.

Male circumcision is genital mutilation and that's practised quite heavily in America who is a Christian nation, and Israel who is Jewish.
