Administrative Processing?

So I am completely freaking out VJ'ers and I am requesting for someone to please respond to this post. I attended my fiance's interview in Delhi on Sept 19 and the visa was approved immediately. I have been checking online since for a status update... the CEAC website now says that the case is under ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING. I then called the Visa line and the man on the phone asked me if my fiance received any paperwork requesting to submit additional documents and i said no. He then said it is under administrative processing (same thing as the website). I am really concerned because they say it can take up to 60 days under AP. Has anyone else experienced this? It's been over 2 weeks since the interview and now all of a sudden it's under AP. Please advise guys - I am losing my mind here :crying::crying::crying:

AP is not that uncommon in India, not as nasty as say Pakistan.

You wait basically.

Loads of threads on the subject.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Does this mean they will require further information? Does every filer go through this? I am not sure... I mean he was approved so I don't understand what the AP means

At this stage it usually means background/security checks.
