Still need a co-sponsor?

Hello all,

My spouse and I filled last year. Our paperwork went through the USCIS, and has been at the NVC since February 2014.

We haven't sent in the I-864 because I didn't have a job at that time. I obtained a job in July 2014 as an engineer, so am now well above the poverty line. Do I still need a co-sponsor to sponsor my spouse, or will my current income be enough?

If your current income will put you above 125% of the poverty level, you should be ok. Also when you have a joint sponsor it doesn't matter whether you have income or not.
