Question about driving with foreign driver license

Hi,everyone. This is my old post http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/509996-what-should-i-do-with-the-overstay-tourist-visa/

Which still not solve yet. And in the meantime I wonder will I able to drive with a foreign driver license? And just moved to wyoming cause my kid's father's decision,I want to stay close with them. But I have to drive here, cause almost no bus here.If I get pull over will I get deport? I just want to use the foreign driver license while I try to get everything solve.

From my understanding, you cannot drive here in US with your HK driver license.

I am not sure but you can try AAA to see if they are able to issue you an international driver permit by providing them your foreign license.

Wyoming DMV web site will advice how long new residents can drive with an out of state license.
