Hey Everyone,

I have a question -- After receiving the NOA2 notification (for K1 visa) does the petitioner (US citizen) get anything else mailed to them?
Or is mailing transactions now between the beneficiary (foreign fiancee) ?

Thanks :)

After the NOA 2 all dealings are with the beneficiary. Take a look at the guides and timelines and it will show how the process goes.

We're at the same point in our "journey." I've read through the guides and timelines and there's no real information about what happens between the NOA2 and the interview. I have heard (and the VJ timelines confirm this) that it will be approximately 2 months between the NOA2 and interview... since we got the NOA2 on Sept. 18th, we're trying to be patient.... but we're so ready to be done with all the waiting!

Does anyone know how to follow-up with the consulate in a fiance's country? Or how to get any more info about this part of the process?

The petitioner does get a letter from the NVC, mine just said that they were forwarding the information on to my fiancés country embassy. Than I got an email from the embassy where he lives that said they are in receipt of my fiancés K1 visa file, and a link to follow with instructions. My fiancé has yet to get any mail or emails from anyone but me, but that's ok with us. Good luck
