Hello everyone!

I arrived here in Florida last jan 18 and got married today feb 18. They will send us our marriage certificate 2-3 weeks from now via mail. My I-94 will expire on april 17.

We are just confused about 'name change'. I would like to use the surname of my husband (we're both girls). Is that possible here in Florida? How did you guys do it?

When filing for your AOS, did you use the last name of your husband/wife?

Hey! Each state is different when it comes to last name change and you should find all the information on the wedding license bureau's website ;) we got married in NY and you can pick whatever you want! We decided to hyphen both of our last names! Also it can come in handy in certain places for recognition of children if you decide to make that step!
