Our i 129f visa arrived today 9/23/14 at 10:30 am at Texas lockbox with delivery signature so far no e notification or txt message sent

the form says within 24 hours they will send e notice or txt so they have until 9/24/14 10;30 am

is this unusual or does it come at the last minute

and what if it doesn't come is this worrisome because i thought it would come this afternoon on 9/23/14

thank you in advance for any comments

You will get a text and a notification email when they receive your file and enter it into their system. Don't beat yourself up over this because it will be a long journey and you will need a lot of patience.

The consulate does not schedule your interview any longer. Once you have received your Packet 3 letter, fill out your DS160, go to ustraveldocs.com to create an account, and print the visa fee deposit slip to pay your visa fee. Then come back to the site after 24 hrs and schedule your own interview.
