I was just searching for free international phone calls online and I came across this website. There are a number of countries they say you can call for free by dialing a phone number and entering the country code and phone number. It's worth trying!

futurephone.com works like a charm.

Need some patience sometimes to get through but it works quite well once you have a line.

They just added new access numbers and 4 more countries (Mexico, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong) to their list.
