So, my fiance is concerned she might be missing some vaccines and that she will not be able to attend the interview or that she will be denied due to missing vaccines. Her medical is next week and the interview is October 21st. Apparently vaccines can take a month or two in Belarus so this would present a problem.

The info I have found is that the vaccines are more for the change of status in the US and if she needed additional vaccines she could get them here. That her interview and the results would not be affected by her missing an immunization. Is this correct?

Who is an expert on the medical portion of the process?

Thanks!

"K visa applicants are encouraged to get the vaccinations required under U.S. immigration law for immigrant visa applicants. Although such vaccinations are not required for K visa issuance, they will be required when adjusting status to that of legal permanent resident following your marriage. Applicants are therefore encouraged to fulfill these vaccination requirements at the time of the medical examination. See Vaccination Requirements for IV Applicants for the list of required vaccinations and additional information."
