We got our visa approved last Friday! Hooray!!!

Thank you all for your support and help!

I do have a question though, for those who had their interview earlier, when did you received your visa? I asked the 2go personnel but she can't give me a definite answer.

I was also interviewed last friday and was approved. Did you check your CEAC status? Mine still says ready for interview. I've read here that it sometimes take time for them to issue visa. My brother was interviewed last june. His CEAC status changed on the day itself. Then the visa was delivered 5 days after (saturday and sunday included).

In February, CEAC showed the visa status as issued in two days after the interview, and it took an additional three days to receive the passport with visa and document packet from 2go. Two things to consider when comparing cases: 1. Our interview was on a Monday; 2. We were applying for a K-1 visa. Not sure if the processing times are different for your case.

No one can predict when you will have your visa. Typically 5-10 business days is normal. But it hasn't been normal processing for some time.

Ours took 13 calendar days, but I heard of some taking 3 days and some taking 3 months and everything in between. (These are the ones with no problems, all documents filed, etc.) The average seems to be 2 to 3 weeks.

Keep tracking on CEAC. When it gets to ISSUED, wait 2 days and start looking on 2Go.
