Hi Vj friends,

I received an email from uscis on august 19, 2014 which stated my case was sent to NVC. I called NVC this past Friday and they said I'm calling too early and I have to call them 25 days after it was shipped by USCIS. Are there other Vj members who are in the same boat.

After USCIS forwarded our approved petition, it took 14 days for it to be logged into NVC's system. After that, it took NVC another 15 days to assign it a new case number. This was back in April and May, and NVC seems to be even more backed up now.

Have you called USCIS to ask if and when it was forwarded to NVC?
