Hi! My petioner paid the AOS fee on the 20th of July and I just got the mail for Ds-261 on the 22nd of August and completed it at the same date, it is amost 3 weeks now and have'nt heared anything yet. Do we have to wait for email or email for the step? What do have to do, sent email already but no response yet and trying to call NVC but always busy. Please advise. Thank you!

you need to send the aos package to the nvc.;)

Can we send it already even if we did not receive any notofication from NVC? How about the IV fee? Thank you![/

once the aos fee shows paid.you can send the aos package :)

It's 60 day now. You just did the DS-261 start counting 60 days from August 22. The IV fee will be invoiced once they review and accept the DS-261.

The AOS package you can send soon as you pay. That also will be 60 days to review and accept.

Case Complete to Interview spreadsheet

Will it really take 60 days before we can receive the invoice for IV fee, on our stage of process how many months do you think it will finish?Thank you

One thing I know about NVC when they say a # of days they mean it. So its all about when you get invoiced, get your forms to submit and when you get your packages in. It's really about a 3 to 4 month process now. So read the Wiki so you can be best prepared.

Oh my!!! :( Is it really 60 days for them to review DS-261? :'( Coz I just talked to NVC, and the guy told me it's 30 business days. I filled out DS-261 on July 30th... and I asked if it is possible that it will be invoiced this week...and he said most likely it will be...

I hope they invoice our IV soon...My husband(petitioner) needs me, his mother passed away yesterday. So sad. These longer wait times are unbearable!

Hi... Do you mean August 20th not July? Like what dhadz said, you have to send your AOS package as soon as your AOS fee appears PAID... As for DS-261...I'm not sure if it's 30 business days or 60 days before they accept it.. I just talked to NVC, and a rep confirmed it's 30 business days.
