HI! i have filed my N-400 on july 14 and supposedly got my biometrics done on july 27 but they have lost my schedule in the mail so i had to do a walk in at the USCIS office to do my biometrics on August 7 which i got done..I told them that the schedule never arrived but they have my schedule so its okay now.. now im waiting for my Interview schedule...I have received a notice in the mail that asks me to bring stuff for the interview but no sched yet...

I am just afraid that my letter will be lost just like my biometrics sched.. and i dont want that to happen again ><
is there anything i can do to keep in touch with my schedules just in case that they DO lose my schedule letter again?
My case status says "On August 7, 2014, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was placed in line for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview"

I live in Bakersfield, CA.. and if there is anyone from this area please give me some advice.. thank you so much

When they said your interview letter they will update your online status to something that says you have been scheduled for an interview. After that happens, you should expect a letter in the mail. If you don't get it in a week or two after that online update, you should contact them.

For now, they haven't sent out an interview letter because you are only inline for scheduling.
