We received our NOA2 on the 15th of Aug. Still awaiting contact from NVC. Anyways we have discovered that our NOA2 has an error in the petitioners middle name. His surname is also listed as his middle name. After reviewing the documents we originally sent to USCIC, we see that on the I129f my fiance did in fact make an error and recorded his middle name the same is his surname (the initials are the same). The rest of the forms that were sent, such as the biographic information, etc, were all with his correct name.
Since we are between offices at the moment, I'm not sure which office to contact about this, or if I should worry about it at all since USCIC didn't mention the error and we were approved.

Thoughts? Advice? Anything similar happen to anyone?

Since the petition is with NVC, best to call them and inform them of the error. Although I assume they have a copy of your petitioner's birth certificate or passport to prove the correct name, be prepared in case they ask for any additional document.
