As far for the dhl site....ifvur talking about the visa-info web....its not useful at all to Jamaica. Once we finally figured how to get back in it (had to do a reset) it kept saying we had to pay the visa fee. Gave up and finally waybill number was emailed to him to check on the actual dhl site.

OMG! So sorry you're going through this. I hope they have the medical packet I sent. Only thing keeping me from freaking out is that NVC said embassy acknowledged receipt 15 aug

I sent through ta ra? I can't recall the actual name but that's what's on the truck. There isn't a dhl office in Negril but the cost is the same. They flew it over same day I sent 13 August but embassy didn't acknowledge acceptance til 15 aug

Because I sent mines through USPS from America....didn't know they want it through DHL. .what the hell they told my fiance to have me mailed the documents and I did.

I was in Jamaica when I sent the packet by courier. They are just like fed ex or dhl

Once the address is there and its a confirmed delivery then it shouldn't matter the carrier. I am so over Kingston embassy because I have been communicating with them since August 7 and now after so many weeks they want to say they didn't receive it.

Our status on the website says "ready". The case was last updated on September 11th. We have e-mailed the embassy several times but the response remains the same...AP.

Did they request any other documents from you? Or they approve your case on spot?

They asked for that his original birth certificate be sent via DHL (he had a copy). All of the other documents were fine, they took his passport, and they said they would move forward once they received the document. They received his birth certificate about two days later. Our CEAC status said AP from the start but changed on September 11th to ready.
