Applicant readiness form submitted but not received?

Hi there,

I have just gone over the 7 week waiting point after submitting my Applicant Readiness form. I've had my medical a month and a half ago, submitted my DS-260 the same day and my readiness form as well. During the "up to six weeks" timeframe, I sent one email advising that my wife would accompany me to the interview and two emails asking whether everything including my medical, DS-260 and readiness form had been received OK. I did not receive any replies to these emails. Furthermore, I contacted the NVC directly three times and had a nice lady confirm each time that everything had been submitted and was in order and that I just had to wait for the letter.

I was surprised at how long I'd been waiting for an interview letter so I decided to email once more, stating my desire to have my interview as soon as possible and received this email in return:

"We confirm receipt of your medical examination.

As of this date however, we have not yet received the forms as listed on the Embassy website at http://london.usembassy.gov/ds2001.html . Once you have completed the DS-260, you are required to submit the Notification of Applicant Readiness form -http://london.usembassy.gov/iv/notification_of_applicant_readiness.html . You will receive confirmation of your interview date within six weeks of submitting all the required documentation."

I've been spending the last 7 weeks eagerly yet patiently awaiting my letter, just to be told that the form wasn't received. My problem is that it was submitted. I have screenshots of each step taken including the confirmation page, and my browser auto-completes the entire form if I try to fill it again. I'm at a loss here. I've replied to their email stating all the above and my but still haven't had a reply.

Has anybody else experienced his problem? Does anybody know of any way to contact the embassy directly by phone? Finally, does anybody know of any way I could get the embassy to give me the soonest date? I've seen timeframes for people who have had their medical after me who have already had their interviews...

Thank you very, very much for your time.

Hi G Walters,

Do you know what number would you recommend calling? I tried the one on the London Embassy website but it only handles non-immigrant visas.

Thanks,

Shem

The best way to contact the embassy is through the Visa contact form. Is that how you emailed them?http://london.usembassy.gov/niv/visa_contact_form.html

Phoning the embassy doesn't get you the the right people to help. They disabled the former helpline phone in favor of the contact form.

Now that you finally got an email, use the email you got to reply again asking for any cancellation appointment. Or use the contact form again.

And why argue the point that you already sent the Readiness form? Send another.
