Hi, I am planning on adding form I-131 with my AOS package.... but I would like to know if RFE are common for this form, or if it is a yes or no kind of answer. I am thinking about filing this form "just in case"... I have elderly relatives, family, etc.... just planning for the worst case.

However, I don't want this to slow the process as I don't have a strong enough reason to leave the country, and they may require further evidence..... what is your opinion on this?

Thanks

Submitting an I-131 will not slow the process of your other applications. The applications are processed separately.

I-131s are routinely approved without any strong reason or evidence of a reason to leave the country.

RFEs for I-131s are very rare. The form is extremely simple to fill out and requires a minimum of attached supporting documents. Follow the instructions and you will be fine.
