"All visa applicants 15 years old and above, male or female, are required to have chest x-ray to immigrate. Pregnant women will have proper shielding as a precautionary measure of radiation hazards. Pregnant applicants may have an option to defer medical examination including chest x-ray until delivery."

Hi!Got this from slec's website.They thought I was pregnant too and for precautionary measures,lady gave me a shield.;)

August 25,2014 Went to SSA to see what's going on with my SSC- SAVE has my middle name together with my first name.

August 28,2014 ELIS went from ACCEPTED TO OPTIMIZED IN PROCESS (INITIAL REVIEW)

September 2 Called local ssa and was told SSC was mailed/Elis says Green CARD production has begun

September 4,2014-received ssc

September 8,2014- green card mailed/closed on elis

September 9,2014- green card received yahooo!!

REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS

Mailed Packet: 4/29/2016

NOA1: 5/2/2016

Bio Appt: 6/1/2016

Approval:2/13/2017

Received 10 year green card:2/17/2017

Immigration law and CDC requires vaccination with age-appropriate vaccines. This includes live vaccines which may cause birth defects/deformities when given to pregnant women or to child-bearing women who may become pregnant within four weeks from receipt of the said vaccines. Additional vaccines are also given when medically indicated; or withheld when contraindicated.

Since you're pregnant you will not be given the live vaccines.Congratulations btw!

Thanks for the info now I don't have to worry and stop thinking about it,the live vaccines is it the immunization they said in the last part of medical?

It does not mean that they won't give you the vaccine...

If you have an immunization record...be sure to bring it with you...

You may also want to do a little more research regarding the live vaccine requirement...

Sorry thats what i meant.Since she is pregnant,she will not be given the live vaccines (yet).My vaccination was delayed because they had to make sure i wasnt pregnant before injecting.So i was advised to go back during my period.The two vaccines i needed were both live.

Yup thats the immunization part.Dont worry about it,they will let you know of the vaccines you can/cant have ;).Have a safe pregnancy! ;)

Vaccine Safety Before, During and After Pregnancy

CDC has guidelines for the vaccines you need before, during, and after pregnancy. Some vaccines, such as the measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) vaccine, should be given a month or more before pregnancy. You should get some vaccines, like Tdap (to protect against whooping cough), during your pregnancy. Other vaccines, like the flu shot, can be given before or during pregnancy, depending on whether or not its flu season when youre pregnant. It is safe for a woman to receive vaccines right after giving birth, even while she is breastfeeding. Be sure to discuss each vaccine with your health care professional before getting vaccinated. Ah, actually this is my 2nd pregnancy before when I was pregnant with my 1st child I was only given the anti tetanus from the health center, I only have my immunization record with anti tetanus on my pregnancy book record,so it will be include if il just bring to medical exam? After I gave birth I didn't receive any vaccine
