RFE notice (split topic)

Hello guys, my wife got the notice in the mail that the i130 has been reviewed and we have not submitted enough evidence and that we should send recent passport photographs and the passport photos must have some requirements stipulated in the letter. Is the passport photographs the evidence needed for them to proceed or we need to do something more? I am pretty confused. They actually received the i130 application March 3rd, 2014.

Also, we filed K1 visa too as she was told that she can do so when she called the immigration office making enquiries about everything. She did filed all the documents regarding the i129f and we received it march 24th as updated on their website.

Can someone please shed more lights to this?

There are some things that need to be cleared up here. In another thread, you stated you received a case update indicating your petition had been approved and wanted to know what comes next in the process. Now you are saying you received a request for evidence for passport style photographs. Which is it, was your petition (the I-130 is a petition form, not an application form) approved or not????????

Also, if you are married, you cannot file for a K1 visa, that is only for unmarried couples. Did you submit an I-129F after submitting the I-130? If so, then that starts the K3 process but that avenue often dead-ends at the NVC because the NVC will administrative close the K3 process if they have an approved I-130 on-station.
