AOS, response times

Hello there,

I sent off my AOS packet which was received in Chicago on July 28. The packet also contained my AP and EAD applications.

However USCIS haven't deposited my check yet (9 days later). Needless to say I'm a bit concerned about it as most folks here say it should only take a few days to see the check go through - does anyone know what the best way to reach USCIS would be to ask them about it?

No need to necessarily be concerned, many folks don't have their checks back for 30 days or more. If you want to contact USCIS, call their customer service number. Likely of little use to you unless you have received your NOA1 receipt numbers to provide as reference to your applications. Do you have delivery confirmation?

Ok thanks, but they also haven't sent me a text or email (I did include the G-1145) to indicate that they have opened the package. Is this long a wait normal for a response?

hi dannyboy, my attorney sent ours on the 25th July, and we haven't heard anything - and no check cashed either, so we are in the same boat....
