I got a request of evidence from USCIS and I responded to the rfe on 07/25/14. On 07/31/14, I received the same request for evidence hard copy via mail asking me response to what I have already responded to earlier. On 08/4/14, my case status change to this:

Card/ Document Production

On August 4, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application. I am really confused because I was in the process sending back same documents they requested earlier. Is this a mistake or what?

It's hard to say my friend without more context.

If you came here on a K1 (unlikely based on the forum you've posted in) it might be correct.

If you're adjusting from a tourist / VWP, then it's a mistake or glitch on the website.

Or maybe you're just looking at the wrong number (ie your EAD was approved and in production)
