I've received 4 "CEAC Confirmation Page" emails in the last 24 hours from DoS. I submitted the form on July 22 and received confirmation for that right away, but now all of a sudden I keep getting these repeats. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be calling NVC?

I have received more than 10 so far, My parents had gone for a B1/B2 visa at the mumbai consulate and happen to update the form precisely on 22nd. The emails started coming 2 days ago and haven't stopped. they are all marked as urgent. It has also coincided with them not receiving the passport back even though there visa was approved.. so i am just wondering if it is causing more problems then just multiple emails

I think this is the issue >>>>>

Notice: The Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs is currently experiencing technical problems with our visa system. We are operating at a significantly reduced capacity and will be until we clear the document backlog. This issue is worldwide and is not specific to any particular country, citizenship document, or visa category. We are working urgently to correct the problem and expect our system to be fully operational again soon. We will be posting updates to Travel.State.Gov as more information becomes available.

Yeah, I'm thinking that's it. Received another last night, but haven't gotten any more since that one...

This is on the the travel.state.gov facebook, so I guess they're on it

As of July 27, the Department of State has made continued progress on restoring our system to full functionality. As we restore our ability to print visas, we are prioritizing immigrant cases, including adoptions visas. System engineers are performing maintenance to address the problems we encountered. As system performance improves, we will continue to process visas at U.S. Embassies and Consulates worldwide. We are committed to resolving the problem as soon as possible. Additional updates will be posted to travel.state.gov as more information becomes available.
