Hello guys,

I am filling up the forms and paperwork to AOS and I have some questions.

I will explain my situation so you guys can understand it better. First, I came to the US with J1 visa, stayed for one year and came back home for 2 weeks to renew my visa. So I have two visas in my passport and also two entry stamps. When my 2nd year as J1 visa was over, I applied for a change of status to B2, what was approved and after I got my F-1 status and that is my current status for now.

And now, I also had to renew my passport because the other will expire in 5 months.

So here are my question regarding my situation:

1) Should I send copies for my two visas or only the last one?

2) What should I do about the passport? Send active first page passport of both or just the new one?

3) Should I send copies for my Social Security Card and Driver license? If yes, in which package should I put them?

4) Also, should I send copies of I-797 (I have two, one for tourist and one for student), DS-2019 (for J-1 visa) and I-20 (student visa)? If yes, in which package should I put them?

Thank you so much and I really appreciate the help! :)

1. 2 because they might want to check if you have 2yr HHR.

2. Biographic page of new one is enough.

3. No you don't need.

4. No you don't have to. You need to send current I-20 with OPT remark to supply for I-765 application if you had EAD before. Otherwise, you don't have to.

just an FYI.

you don't have to send a copy of your old passport, but if there are visas in it, you have to make sure you bring it to the interview.
