Hello All -

Has anyone out there gotten their I-129F approved through a Request to Expedite? We have received approval just this Monday, January 15, 2007, and are wondering what to expect from NVC / Consultant in Delhi with the expediting process. Thank you for your kind responses. - D.D. & Vinod

10-04-06 - Petitioner (wife) sent I-130 to USCIS Vermont Service Center

10-14-06 - Petitioner received NOA 1 "Receipt Notice"

01-17-07 - USCIS NOA2 "Approval Notice"

I-129F Petition Timeline

09-22-06 - Married in India

10-19-06 - Petitioner sent I-129F to USCIS Chicago

10-27-06 - Petitioner received NOA 1 "Receipt Notice"

01-17-07 - USCIS NOA2 "Approval Notice"

I-485 AOS Timeline

05/26/07 - Submitted I-485 package to USCIS Chicago

06/01/07 - USCIS sent I-797C NOA "Rejection Notice" and returns cashiers check

06/08/07 - Called USCIS to inquire why check was returned; USCIS confirms correct fee and advises to re-submit check and I-485 package to Chicago.

06/29/07 - NOA2 "Receipt Notice" received from USCIS

07/17/07 - Biometrics appointment at USCIS York, PA

The qualification for expedite service has very limiting criteria. Imminent military deployment is the most common.

Your post is a bit confusing. You ask about expediting I-129f approval, but your I-129f is already approved.

You need to specify the consultant you are using if you want to find out what to expect from them.

I have not personally applied for this however, I am wondering who is eligible to apply for this service?

Anyone is eligible to apply however it must fall within four specific categories of cause:

- Humanitarian

- Extreme Emergency

- Severe Financial Loss

- Service Error

Yodrak - Thanks for pointing out the confusion. I'm asking if others have gone through the Expedite processing and how that is handled once approved. I'm not asking about how to obtain Expediting, we've already sent the request two weeks ago and are seeing the results of the expediting this week. We just wonder how the expediting affects the rest of the processing through NVC and the Consulate.

I hope this helps clarify. Our K-3 visa request will be going through a Consulate Office in India.
