CR-1 NSO Marriage License Error

I sent my I-130 off on July 3 2014. Today I noticed that my marriage license says that my citizenship is Filipino, not U.S. We were married in the Philippines in March of 2014. We are going to get a correction made ASAP. My question is will this cause a problem with the I-130. I sent copies of all pages of my US passport and the marriage license states my address as being in the US and that both of my parents are US citizens?

This can be a huge problem actually. You might receive RFE because of this but if you have corrected this then no worries. you can claim the supplemented marriage certificate after 2 months though.

are you a naturalized USC? it may not be a problem as long as you can show them your certificate of naturalization.

Ooops. That's a different story. I assumed you were a Nat USC. You really have to get that changed asap. Mine states Fil/American.

We are getting it changed, but it was not a problem our I-130 was approved in 25 days with no RFE
